W diagnostyce laboratoryjnej zakażeń Mycoplasma spp. u bydła wykorzystywany jest szereg metod badawczych ukierunkowanych zarówno na bezpośrednią identyfikację czynnika zakaźnego, jak i tych służących do wykrywania przeciwciał specyficznych dla tych drobnoustrojów. W celu uniknięcia jednak błędnej interpretacji wyniku uzyskanego tymi metodami należy przestrzegać kilku zasad bezpośrednio i pośrednio decydujących o powodzeniu analizy.

The laboratory diagnosis of Mycoplasma infection in bovine involves a number of analytic methods aiming at a direct identification of pathogens as well as a detection of specific antibodies against them. To avoid misinterpretation of the results, a few rules influencing directly and indirectly a proper analysis should be observed.
