Streszczenie
W okresie zasuszenia dochodzi do przebudowy tkanki wydzielniczej. Najbardziej intensywne zmiany dotyczą początkowego i końcowego okresu zasuszenia, w których również dochodzi do nowych infekcji gruczołu mlekowego. Konsekwencje błędnego postępowania można obserwować zaraz po wycieleniu, ale również przez okres kilku miesięcy od porodu. Wszystkie czynności obniżające wysoką wydajność w czasie zasuszania mają charakter działań profilaktycznych i wraz z odpowiednim zarządzaniem w tym okresie prowadzą do osiągania najlepszych efektów ekonomicznych.
Abstract
In the dry period the mammary tissue undergoes extensive remodelling changes, especially at the beginning and at the end of the dry season and during that time the gland is especially susceptible to infections. In the case of improper herd management, consequences can be observed not only immediately after calving, but also a few months later. Preventive steps leading to decreased milk production during the dry period and proper herd management are expected to yield best economic effects.
