Streszczenie
Ataksja, czyli niezborność, jest jednym z pierwszych objawów występujących w uszkodzeniu struktur układu nerwowego. Niezborność definiuje się jako utratę koordynacji oraz nieprawidłowe ustawienie kończyn, głowy szyi i tułowia względem ustawienia grzbietu. W zależności od lokalizacji uszkodzenia wyróżnia się trzy rodzaje ataksji: móżdżkową, przedsionkową i rdzeniową. Różnią się one objawami i występują w określonych jednostkach chorobowych bydła. Umiejętność różnicowania typów ataksji i wykonanie odpowiednich testów umożliwiają postawienie prawidłowego rozpoznania, leczenie lub właściwe postępowanie administracyjne w przypadku chorób zakaźnych.

Abstract
Ataxia is one on the first symptoms of damaged structures of the nervous system. Ataxia is defined as lack of coordination and incorrect positions of the limbs, head, neck and trunk relative to the position of the back. Depending on localization, there are three types of ataxia: cerebellar, vestibular and spinal. They differ in their symptoms and occur in specific cattle diseases. The ability to distinguish between the types of ataxia and performing appropriate tests allows one for a correct diagnosis, treatment, or a proper administrative procedure in the case of infectious diseases.
