Streszczenie
W hodowli bydła istotny problem stanowi zachorowalność cieląt na choroby zakaźne, a w szczególności biegunki, które pojawiają się, gdy układ pokarmowy nie jest do końca wykształcony. Drobnoustroje obecne w przewodzie pokarmowym pełnią bardzo ważną funkcję, pomagając w utrzymaniu homeostazy w organizmie i współdziałając z układem odpornościowym w zwalczaniu drobnoustrojów chorobotwórczych. Większość bakterii obecnych w jelitach bydła należy do gromad Firmicutes i Bacteroidetes.

Abstract
The calves morbidity caused by infectious diseases, especially diarrheas affecting the incompletely developed gastrointestinal tract, is a serious problem in bovine herds. The microorganisms present in the tract are essential for body homeostasis and, in co-operation with the immune system, for combating pathogenic microorganisms. Most of the bovine intestine bacteria belong to the Firmicutes i Bacteroidetes phyla.
