Streszczenie
Cynk to jeden z najważniejszych mikroelementów w żywieniu trzody chlewnej. Odpowiada on za prawidłowy przebieg wielu procesów biochemicznych. W znaczący sposób wpływa na układ immunologiczny oraz pokarmowy, m.in. przez kształtowanie błony śluzowej jelit. W związku z powyższym terapeutyczne dawki cynku są skuteczną obroną wobec występowania biegunek u prosiąt w okresie okołoodsadzeniowym. Niestety, nadmierne wydalanie tego pierwiastka z odchodami do środowiska spowodowało, że prawo unijne ograniczyło stosowanie cynku do 150 ppm w kg mieszanki pełnoporcjowej.

Abstract
Zinc is one of the most critical microelements in pig nutrition. It is responsible for the proper course of many biochemical processes. It significantly affects the immune and digestive systems by shaping the intestinal mucosa. Therefore, therapeutic doses of zinc are an effective defense against diarrhea in piglets after weaning. Unfortunately, the excessive excretion of this element with feces into the environment meant that EU law limited zinc to 150 ppm per kg of a complete feed.
