Inicjatywa Gustav Rosenberger Memorial Fund (GRMF), dedykowana pamięci dr. Gustava Rosenbergera, co roku oferuje grant w wysokości 10 000€ dla młodego, obiecującego lekarza weterynarii, z pierwszeństwem dla kandydatów z obszarów o ograniczonych możliwościach rozwoju w dziedzinie weterynarii bydła. Tegoroczny grant jest sponsorowany przez firmę Boehringer Ingelheim.
GRMF co roku przyznaje granty młodym i obiecującym lekarzom weterynarii, którzy napędzają postęp w medycynie bydła, pochodzą z kraju, w którym medycyna bydła wymaga dalszego rozwoju i zamierzają wykorzystać swoją wiedzę w tym kraju. Grant ma być wykorzystany na okres edukacyjny trwający co najmniej 3 miesiące w celu poszerzenia wiedzy kandydata na temat medycyny weterynaryjnej bydła, poprzez udział w kursach lub prowadzenie badań. Kandydatami do grantu GRMF są lekarze weterynarii pracujący w dziedzinie medycyny bydła, którzy ukończyli studia nie wcześniej niż 10 lat przed otrzymaniem grantu.
Co dwa lata grant GRMF będzie prezentowany na Światowej Konferencji Bujatrycznej W latach nieparzystych grant będzie wręczany w miejscu, o którym zadecyduje zarząd GRMF.
