Streszczenie
Zakaz stosowania antybiotykowych stymulatorów wzrostu (ASW) w żywieniu zwierząt przyczynił się do intensyfikacji badań w poszukiwaniu substancji, które mogłyby zastąpić wycofane ASW. Na całym świecie obserwowane jest ogromne zainteresowanie różnego rodzaju substancjami roślinnymi jako tymi, które mogłyby zastąpić zakazane ASW i ograniczyć negatywne konsekwencje będące wynikiem ich wycofania. W przedstawionym przeglądzie piśmiennictwa omówione zostały aktualne dane na temat wpływu substancji pochodzenia roślinnego na parametry produkcyjne świń w różnym wieku.

Abstract
The prohibition of the use of antibiotics growth promoters (AGP) in animal feed contributed to many investigations aiming at identifying other substances that could replace AGPs. A huge interest in various types of plant-derived natural products used as additives that would replace prohibited AGP and reduce negative consequences of their withdrawal, is observed worldwide. In the paper the authors review the current state of knowledge regarding the influence of various plant-derived feed additives on production parameters in pigs of different ages.
