Streszczenie
W publikacji przedstawiono hipotetyczne podłoże rozwoju endometriozy macicy klaczy. Argumenty zawarte w tych rozważaniach są oparte na wynikach badań nad adenomiozą/endometriozą krów mlecznych oraz wykazaniu analogii w typie zmian patologicznych występujących w komórkach macicy w obu syndromach chorobowych – to jest endometriozie macicy klaczy i adenomiozie/endometriozie macicy krów mlecznych. Z uwagi na fakt, że u krów mlecznych w tym syndromie chorobowym wykazano obecność równoczesnego występowania różnego typu zmian patologicznych w jajnikach, przypuszcza się, że w endometriozie macicy klaczy ma także miejsce uszkodzenie gonad.

Abstract
The paper contains suggestions concerning etiopathogenesis of the mare’s uterus endometriosis, The publication is based on the results of the research performed in dairy cows with uterus adenomyosis/endometriosis. The similarities in the types of pathologic changes developing in uterus cells in both syndromes, i.e. in a mare’s endometriosis and dairy cow’s adenomyosis/endometriosis were also considered The main attention was paid to ovarian pathologic changes found in dairy cows with uterus adenomyosis/endometriosis, which may suggest that in a mare’s uterus endometriosis gonads are also affected.
