Streszczenie
Mimo że oficjalne programy zwalczania choroby IBR-IPV są znane i stosowane na świecie od ponad 30 lat, wirus ten w dalszym ciągu należy do najważniejszych czynników chorobotwórczych występujących w stadach bydła mlecznego, jak i mięsnego. Cele niniejszej publikacji to: zwrócenie uwagi na znaczenie tej jednostki chorobowej, podkreślenie jej wpływu na ekonomikę stada oraz prezentacja potencjalnych konsekwencji, jakie może nieść choroba dla stad naiwnych, nieszczepionych, bazując na przykładzie przypadku terenowego.

Abstract
Although official IBR-IPV disease control programs have been known and used around the world for over 30 years, the virus remains one of the most important pathogens in dairy and beef herds. The aim of this publication is to draw attention to the importance of this disease entity, to emphasize its impact on the economy of the herd and to present the potential consequences that the disease may have for naive, unvaccinated herds, based on the example of a field case.
