Streszczenie
Kokcydioza bydła jest wywoływana przez pasożytnicze pierwotniaki z rodzaju Eimeria. Spośród licznych gatunków stwierdzanych u bydła rolę czynnika chorobotwórczego pełnią trzy z nich: Eimeria bovis, E. zuernii i E. alabamensis. Jest to inwazja trudna do wyeliminowania i przynosząca wymierne straty ekonomiczne. Jej kontrolowanie jest możliwe tylko dzięki skoordynowanym działaniom łączącym dobry wywiad i wiarygodną diagnostykę laboratoryjną z utrzymaniem odpowiedniego statusu higieny i efektywnym stosowaniem leków.

Abstract
Cattle coccidiosis is caused by protozoal parasites of the Eimeria kind. Among many species diagnosed in cattle, three of them, Eimeria bovis, E. zuernii and E. Alabamensis are responsible for the clinical symptoms. The invasion is difficult to eliminate and causes significant economic losses. Well-coordinated actions including detailed anamnesis, laboratory diagnostics, proper hygiene, effective drug selection and use are essential for a good control of invasion.
