Określenie masy ciała koni w terenie jest utrudnione ze względu na ograniczony dostęp do odpowiedniego sprzętu. Z tego względu stosuje się metody alternatywne, takie jak taśmy pomiarowe lub wzory matematyczne. Poszczególne metody mogą być jednak obarczone sporym błędem. W artykule omówiono popularne metody szacowania masy ciała koni i ich ograniczenia.

Abstract
Determining the body weight of horses in the field is difficult due to the limited access to the proper equipment. For this reason, alternative methods are used, such as measuring tapes or mathematical formulas. However, in some cases individual methods may yield incorrect results. The article discusses popular methods of horse body weight estimation and their limitations.
