Streszczenie
Probiotyki to preparaty zawierające żywe i/lub martwe mikroorganizmy, które mogą produkować metabolity przyczyniające się do kształtowania mikrobiomu układu pokarmowego, oraz pozytywnie wpływające na zdrowie i wyniki odchowu zwierząt. W opracowaniu przedstawiono: skład, wymagania stawiane probiotykom oraz mechanizm ich działania, a także cel ich stosowania oraz pozytywny wpływ na mikroflorę przewodu pokarmowego i odporność, a przez to na zdrowotność i wyniki odchowu prosiąt i warchlaków.

Abstract
Probiotics are preparations containing live and/or dead microorganisms, whose metabolites may contribute to the formation of the digestive tract microbiome, and positively affect the health and rearing results of animals. The study presents the composition, requirements for probiotics and the mechanism of their action, as well as the purpose of their use and their positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract microflora and immunity, and in consequence on the health and rearing results of piglets and weaners.
