Streszczenie
Zapalenia jelit są coraz częściej diagnozowane u koni z objawami gorączki, kolki, biegunki czy też z postępującą utratą masy ciała. Stan zapalny może obejmować jeden konkretny odcinek jelita lub zarówno jelito cienkie, jak i grube. Stopień nasilenia choroby może wahać się od łagodnej, przez postać ciężką o ostrym przebiegu, aż po chorobę przewlekłą. Do przyczyn stanu zapalnego jelit należy zaliczyć czynniki zakaźne i niezakaźne. Ze względu na mnogość przyczyn pierwsza część artykułu skupia się na czynnikach zakaźnych.
Abstract
Enteritis is more and more frequently diagnosed in horses with the following symptoms: fever, colic, diarrhoea, progressive weight loss. Inflammation may be affecting one specific part of the intestine or involve both small and large intestines. Level of intensity of the disease can vary from mild form, severe acute one, and chronic disease. Among the causes of inflammation, we can distinguish infectious agents and non-infectious factors. Regarding the multitude of potential reasons for the disease, in the first part of the article we focused on infectious agents.
