Syndrom owrzodzenia żołądka koni to jedna z najczęstszych dolegliwości układu pokarmowego, dokładnie żołądka, u koni. Wraz z postępem terenowych metod diagnostycznych jednostka ta jest diagnozowana u coraz większej grupy pacjentów. Jej leczenie jest kosztowne, często długotrwałe i frustrujące dla właściciela, zwłaszcza w przypadkach niegojących się ran. W związku z powyższym niezmiernie ważne jest posiadanie wiedzy o możliwościach i sposobach terapeutycznych tego syndromu. Umożliwia to podjęcie decyzji co do czasu rozpoczęcia terapii oraz jej trwania.

Abstract
The equine gastric ulcer syndrome is one of the most common gastrointestinal diseases, here stomach disease, in horses. Due to the development of diagnostic field methods, the disease is diagnosed in a growing number of patients. The treatment is expensive, long-lasting and frustrating for the owner, especially in cases of non-healing. The knowledge of the treatment possibilities enables the decision on when to start the therapy and how long it should take.
