Choroby zakaźne koni są przyczyną wielu zachorowań i prowadzą do znacznych strat ekonomicznych na całym świecie. Wybuchy tych chorób wywołują dużą panikę, a te, które występują endemicznie, regularnie wracają, powodując długofalowe straty. Chorób zakaźnych nie da się uniknąć. Dlatego celem tego artykułu jest pokazanie, co możemy zrobić, aby znacznie zmniejszyć ich występowanie i zapewnić takie środki, które mogą przyczynić się do redukcji zakażeń w razie wystąpienia ognisk choroby.

Abstract
Infectious diseases are an important cause of morbidity in horses and lead to significant economic losses worldwide. Outbreaks of these diseases cause panic, and those that are endemic regularly return resulting in long-term losses. Infectious diseases cannot be avoided. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present the measures that significantly reduce their occurrence and reduce infection spread during the outbreak.
