Badania laboratoryjne krwi są ważnym elementem w ocenie stanu ogólnego zdrowia zwierząt oraz są niezbędne w rozpoznawaniu wielu chorób. Właściwa interpretacja otrzymanych wyników krwi często ukierunkowuje lekarza weterynarii w postawieniu diagnozy, różnicowaniu jednostek chorobowych i zastosowaniu właściwego toku postępowania terapeutycznego. Jedną ze składowych tych badań jest hematologia.

Abstract
Blood analysis is an important element of the overall health assessment in animals and an important tool in the diagnosis of many diseases. A proper interpretation of blood analysis results may narrow down the area of differential diagnostic possibilities and indicate proper therapeutic actions. One of the components of these studies is hematology.
