Streszczenie
W pracy przedstawiono przegląd zmian patologicznych występujących w jajnikach klaczy. Specyficzna budowa jajnika koniowatych, a także duże rozmiary gonady sprawiają trudności w wykonaniu precyzyjnego opisu zmian histopatologicznych obecnych w tym narządzie. Rozwój zmian chorobowych w jajniku klaczy, manifestujący się na poziomie struktury komórkowej, był porównywany do analogicznych zmian występujących u suk i krów mlecznych. Specjalną uwagę poświęcono zależności w występowaniu zmian chorobowych w jajnikach i macicy klaczy.

Abstract
The paper presents the review of pathologic changes observed in mare ovaries. The specific structure of the equine ovaries as well as its substantial dimensions, make a precise description of pathologic changes in the gonad difficult The pathologic lesions development manifested by changes in cells structure are compared to similar changes found in the ovaries of bitches and dairy cows. A special attention is paid to the correlation in the development of pathologic changes in the mares’ ovaries and the uterus.
