Postawienie prawidłowego rozpoznania opiera się na znajomości skomplikowanej anatomii okolicy głowy oraz umiejętności interpretacji wyników diagnostyki obrazowej. Objawy kliniczne zależne są od lokalizacji złamania. Opisywany w poniższym artykule przypadek jest przykładem pacjenta z porażeniem nerwu twarzowego o charakterze przejściowym.

Abstract
The fracture of processus paracondylaris in horse is a rarely diagnosed pathology. A proper acquaintance with the complex anatomy of the head region and the ability to interpret the results of diagnostic imaging are essential in establishing a proper diagnosis. Clinical symptoms vary according to the location of the fracture. The paper describes the case of a patient with temporary facial nerve paralysis.
