Streszczenie
W artykule została omówiona posocznica krwotoczna – choroba zakaźna rozpowszechniona głównie na terenach Azji i Afryki. Ze względu na występowanie nosicielstwa serotypów P. multocida odpowiedzialnych za jej występowanie, eradykacja choroby jest trudna. W artykule omówione zostały zagadnienia takie jak epidemiologia, przebieg i objawy kliniczne, zmiany anatomopatologiczne, a także diagnostyka, leczenie i zapobieganie. Zwrócono uwagę na fakt występowania posocznicy krwotocznej w krajach europejskich.

Abstract
The paper discusses haemorrhagic septicemia of cattle, an infectious disease commonly diagnosed mainly in Asia and Africa. The eradication of the disease is difficult because of the Pasteurella multocida serotypes carriage in animals The paper describes epidemiology, course of the disease, clinical symptoms, anatomopathological changes as well as diagnostics, treatment and prevention The presence of HS in European countries was emphasized.
