Szczepienia stanowią bardzo istotny element profilaktyki chorób zakaźnych. Współczesna immunoprofilaktyka swoista to działania zmierzające do zabezpieczenia wszystkich zwierząt w stadzie. Rozsądnie prowadzona pozwala na uzyskanie stada o wysokim statusie zdrowotnym. W artykule omówiono szczepionki skierowane przeciwko patogenom wirusowym.
