Streszczenie
Występowanie przepuklin pępkowych może być spowodowane obecnością defektów genetycznych, infekcji bakteryjnych, jak i nieodpowiednich warunków środowiskowych. Chirurgiczne leczenie takich przepuklin jest zwykle kosztownym i ryzykownym postępowaniem w porównaniu do działań pozachirurgicznych, stąd takie metody są warte szerokiej rekomendacji. W pracy przedstawiono własną modyfikację opisanej w literaturze metody z wykorzystaniem Elastratora.

Abstract
The etiology of umbilical hernias includes genetic defects, bacterial infections and environmental conditions. Surgical intervention is expensive, compared to preservative treatment, so the latter method is worth recommendation. The paper presents the author’s own modification of the treatment method described in literature, with the application of Elastrator.
