Streszczenie
Krowa rasy holsztyńsko-fryzyjskiej (93% HF) po sześciu tygodniach od wycielenia początkowo straciła apetyt i spadła jej wydajność mleczna, a tydzień później dołączyły: posmutnienie, apatia, ostrożny, sztywny chód i mniejsza ilość oddawanego kału. Badanie kliniczne sugerowało prawostronne przemieszczenie trawieńca. Po wykonaniu laparotomii w prawym dole głodowym stwierdzono dogłowowe, grzbietowe przemieszczenie jelita ślepego (dorsale retroflexio caeci) i jego rozszerzenie (dilatatio caeci), a także obfite zrosty.

A Holstein-Friesian cow (93% HF) six weeks after parturition showed inappetence and decreased milk yield followed by apathy, cautious and stiff gait and decrease in the amount of excreted feces.
