W artykule przypomniano podstawowe informacje na temat grypy świń oraz przybliżono najnowsze osiągnięcia i odkrycia naukowe z tego obszaru. Omówiono czynnik etiologiczny oraz przebieg i epidemiologię choroby u świń, a także jej diagnostykę oraz możliwości leczenie i zapobiegania.
