Streszczenie
Gronkowce koagulazo-ujemne to patogeny izolowane z mleka ćwiartkowego zwierząt z każdej obory. Ich patogenność dla gruczołu mlekowego jest niewielka i stąd rodzi się pytanie, czy tak naprawdę należy traktować je poważnie? W stadach, w których głównym problemem są bakterie zakaźne, takie jak: gronkowiec złocisty, paciorkowiec bezmleczności, mykoplazmy, zagrożenie ze strony tytułowych patogenów jest znikome. Co innego, jeśli mamy do czynienia ze stadem o wysokiej jakości produkowanego mleka. Nad takimi stadami zwykle prowadzone są regularne badania bakteriologiczne i dzięki tym badaniom wiemy, że głównym problemem mogą być jednak gronkowce koagulazo-ujemne.

Abstract
Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) are bacteria isolated from cow’s quarter milk in each farm. As the pathogenicity of these strains is very low, the question arises if CNS is a really important problem. In herds threatened by infectious pathogens (S. aureus, Str. agalactiae, Mycoplasma spp.) and coagulase-negative pathogens the problem is not serious. On the other hand CNS may generate problems in herds with very good quality of produced milk. Milk from the animals from that kind of herds is bacteriologically tested on a regular basis. Owing to the results of these tests we know that CNS strains may be the main problem in the herd.
