8 listopada na Uniwersytecie Przyrodniczym w Lublinie, odbyło się oficjalne wręczenie powołania na stanowisko Dziekan Wydziału Medycyny Weterynaryjnej. Prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Kowalczyk, rektor Uniwersytetu osobiście wręczył powołanie nowej dziekan – prof. dr hab. Anecie Nowakiewicz. Pani profesor rozpocznie swoją kadencję z dniem 1 grudnia 2024 r. i potrwa do 31 sierpnia 2028 r.
Prof. dr hab. Aneta Nowakiewicz jest absolwentką Wydziału Medycyny Weterynaryjnej, Akademii Rolniczej w Lublinie (obecnie Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego). W 2001 roku rozpoczęła pracę naukową w Zakładzie Mikrobiologii Weterynaryjnej w charakterze uczestnika studiów doktoranckich. W 2005 roku obroniła rozprawę doktorską, uzyskując stopień doktora nauk weterynaryjnych, specjalność – mikrobiologia weterynaryjna i kontynuowała rozwój kariery naukowej pod kierunkiem prof. dr hab. Grażyny Ziółkowskiej. W kwietniu 2017 roku uzyskała stopień doktora habilitowanego, specjalność – mikrobiologia. W 2022 roku otrzymała tytuł profesora w dziedzinie nauk rolniczych w dyscyplinie weterynaria.
