Prof. dr hab. Wojciech Niżański został wyróżniony jako jeden z TOP 2% najbardziej wpływowych naukowców na świecie. Informacja o obecnym wyróżnieniu ukazała się w najnowszej edycji World’s TOP 2% Scientists 2023, zestawienia przygotowanego przez Stanford University we współpracy z wydawnictwem Elsevier.
Profesor Niżański jest lekarzem weterynarii, profesorem nauk weterynaryjnych, a także kierownikiem Katedry Rozrodu z Kliniką Zwierząt Gospodarskich Wydziału Medycyny Weterynaryjnej Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego we Wrocławiu.
